The Philippines finished its FIBA 3x3 U23 World Cup campaign winless after Friday defeats to Egypt (21-16) and Latvia (21-11) in Wuhan, China. Fielding an under-21 roster, the Gilas Boys gained valuable international experience against top-tier competition before the program turns its focus to the 20th Asian Games.
Gilas Pilipinas Women clinched a spot in the 20th Asian Games quarterfinals with a 90-73 victory over Hong Kong at the Aichi International Arena. Stefanie Berberabe scored 21 points and Afril Bernardino added a 17-point double-double to lead a decisive fourth-quarter run.

Gilas Pilipinas — the Philippine men's national basketball team — through every FIBA window: schedule, results, and where the campaign stands, in Philippine Standard Time (GMT+8).
The current campaign is the FIBA Basketball World Cup 2027 Asian Qualifiers. Gilas came through a first round alongside Australia, New Zealand and Guam, beating Guam home and away and losing twice each to the Australians and the New Zealanders — including a two-overtime defeat in Auckland that finished 106-102. That record carried into a second round in Group E against Jordan, Iran and Syria, with the home games at the Mall of Asia Arena in Manila.
FIBA runs international basketball in discrete windows rather than a continuous season, which is why the fixture list looks empty for months and then crowded for a week. Between windows the squad disperses: most of the pool play for PBA clubs, alongside collegiate players and Filipinos based overseas who qualify under FIBA's eligibility rules. A window is typically two games inside five days, one at home and one away, and the roster is named shortly before it opens rather than months ahead.
Qualifying runs to March 2027. The top finishers advance to the World Cup in Qatar, and the campaign doubles as the route toward Olympic qualification.

The next fixture, its venue and its tip-off time in Philippine Standard Time are at the top of this page, taken from FIBA's competition feed. FIBA confirms venues and start times for later windows closer to the date, so some rows show a date without a time.
The results table above lists every completed qualifier with its final score and whether Gilas won or lost, so the record is the sum of what is on the page rather than a number typed separately from it.
Home qualifiers at the Mall of Asia Arena are shown by the tournament's Philippine rights holders, and FIBA streams selected qualifying games on its own Courtside 1891 service. LodiScore carries the schedule and scores, not the video.
The pool is drawn mostly from PBA clubs, together with collegiate players and Filipinos based overseas who qualify under FIBA's eligibility rules. Squads are named per window rather than for a whole season, so the roster changes between windows.
Gilas Pilipinas is the Philippine men's national basketball team, assembled by the Samahang Basketbol ng Pilipinas for FIBA competition — World Cup qualifiers, the Asia Cup, the Asian Games and the SEA Games.
