Nxled Chameleons win over Choco Mucho was a 25-23, 23-25, 25-23, 25-17 result at Smart Araneta Coliseum on Tuesday. It kept the Chameleons unbeaten in four PVL All-Filipino Conference Pulse Series outings.
The Chameleons slowed down Eya Laure and Sisi Rondina-Rosales, two of the league’s most lethal scorers. The franchise is chasing a breakthrough Premier Volleyball League championship after a runner-up finish in the PVL Invitational early this year.
Nxled Chameleons win keeps them perfect in Pulse Series
Brooke Van Sickle, the club’s leader, scattered 19 points in the fourth win in as many matches. That matched equally unbeaten Creamline’s record. Van Sickle said resiliency made the difference.
“We had a slow start, but we gradually found our rhythm and built momentum,” Van Sickle said.
“I’m proud of everyone for staying resilient,” she added.
