Analysis: Nxled’s 4-0 start and four-set win over Choco Mucho suggest the franchise is moving toward its stated goal of a breakthrough PVL championship. The set scores show Nxled won two close sets, lost one close set and took the fourth comfortably, a pattern that points to composure in tight finishes.

The win also hinted at Nxled’s readiness to eclipse its best league finish, a runner-up placing in the PVL Invitational early this year. The Chameleons remain level with Creamline at the top of the Pulse Series standings.

Creamline will try to reclaim its solo hold of the lead against PLDT (2-2) at 6 p.m. at the PhilSports Arena. Farm Fresh (2-2) and ZUS Coffee (0-4) collide at 1 p.m.
